The Pop Up Book Fair, held as an early celebration of World Book Day, was a great success. Pupils visited the library at lunchtime to choose their own book, a wonderful way to celebrate their love of reading ahead of the event.

World Book Day takes place tomorrow.
We look forward to seeing students’ costumes and competition entries, where they are invited to submit a creative representation of their favourite book. This could include:

A sketchbook featuring a favourite character or scene

A shoebox diorama representing the book
-
A vegetable carved into the shape of a favourite character
Entries should be brought to the library at the start of the day and will be judged by a student panel at lunchtime.
