Our pupils were proud to attend the launch of the “Classroom to Concorde” initiative at Aerospace Bristol.
This exciting, industry-backed programme has been developed to address the UK’s engineering and design skills gap by creating stronger links between schools and leading businesses. It also celebrates the region’s rich engineering heritage, which includes achievements such as Concorde and Rolls-Royce engines, while inspiring the next generation of innovators.
Supported by organisations including the James Dyson Foundation and Samsung, the initiative will provide schools with access to high-quality resources, teacher training, and meaningful engagement with industry professionals.
Attending this event was a valuable experience for our pupils, giving them the opportunity to see how their learning can connect to real-world applications and future careers in engineering, design, and manufacturing.
