Today, Selwood Academy was filled with colourful, patterned and wonderfully wacky ties as pupils and staff came together in memory of Andrew March.

From bright colours to bold patterns, it has been fantastic to see so many members of our school community getting involved to support such a meaningful cause. The event has created a wonderful atmosphere across the school while helping to raise money for the important work carried out by Dorothy House Hospice Care.

There was also a bit of extra fun around school as Mickey Mouse seemed to be on the lookout for Donald Duck among all the creative “duck ties” on display!

For anyone who may have forgotten their contribution, collection buckets will remain in place until the end of the week, so there is still time to donate and show your support.
