Somerset Schools Public Vote – Active Bystanding

We are incredibly proud to announce that Selwood Academy won the Somerset Schools Public Vote by an overwhelming margin for our Active Bystanding podcast entry.

Over the last few months, pupils across Somerset have been learning how to keep themselves and others safe by becoming active bystanders. Through this initiative, pupils demonstrated outstanding knowledge, creativity, and commitment by writing and producing podcasts on this important subject. With more than 40 entries submitted from schools across the county, the competition was fierce, making this achievement even more remarkable.

This success is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and creativity of our pupils, who should be extremely proud of what they have accomplished. Their ability to communicate such an important message in an engaging and impactful way truly stood out.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Collaborate Digital for providing this fantastic opportunity and platform for young people to share their voices, ideas, and learning.
